Brick Gables Wedding – Tierney & Troy

Brick Gables Wedding – Tierney & Troy

Tierney and Troy are such a fun loving and silly couple and I knew that their wedding day would lend itself to tons of great candid moments. Emotions were running high all day (and not in a bad way) and it really helped me to understand how deeply connected everyone was. I’m pretty sure everyone’s faces hurt from smiling a few hours into the day because we were having such a good time. Brick Gables is one of the newest wedding venues in the Lancaster area but they seemed like seasoned pros and did a phenomenal job hosting Tierney and Troy’s big day. Congrats Tierney and Troy!

Courtney & Michael – Kennedy Family Farms Wedding

I had been looking forward to Courtney and Michael’s wedding day for quite some time because I knew it would be a totally fun and relaxed day at a beautiful venue. Their day certainly lived up to the expectations – perfect weather, people, venue, and rocking reception band. If you’re having a wedding and are considering a band, you must check out Group du Jour. They absolutely crushed it and had the place rocking all night. I really can’t find the words to describe the awesomeness of Courtney and Michael’s wedding day so I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking!

Jessica & Brandon – Gifford Pinchot State Park Engagement

Jessica & Brandon – Gifford Pinchot State Park Engagement

The weather was absolutely perfect and so were Jessica and Brandon. They’re too adorable (see proof below) and brought a ton of smiles, laughter, and love to their session. This was my first engagement session back since my surgery and it reminded me how much I love my job and how much I missed shooting engagements like this one. We did a little trespassing and got into some dangerous positions for the shots but it was totally worth it in the end. Stay tuned for more from these two next year when they get married at the Stone Mill Inn!

Alicia & Winston – The Clubs at Colonial Ridge Wedding

Alicia and Winston’s engagement session was an absolute smashing success. We did their engagement session at The Hotel Hershey in the spring on the most perfect day and it really paid off. In fact, their engagement session was shared by Hershey Entertainment!

I knew that their wedding day would be equally amazing and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It was literally one of the hottest days of the year but that didn’t stop everyone from having a good time. The Clubs at Colonial Ridge served as the perfect backdrop for Alicia and Winston’s big day.

Stacy & Chris – Excelsior Wedding

Stacy & Chris – Excelsior Wedding

Chris and I are former coworkers so I was thrilled when his fiancé (at the time), Stacy, reached out to me. We all really hit it off and agreed that we were a great fit for each other. I shot Stacy and Chris’s engagement session at Excelsior while it was under construction and we had no idea that the finished venue would look as beautiful as it did. If you’re looking for a modern, chic, industrial, architecture, old, incredible venue in the Lancaster area, I can’t recommend it enough. Stacy and Chris’s day was filled with laughter, tears, and lots of love. Congrats!

Dana & Dan – Strasburg Backyard Wedding

Dana & Dan – Strasburg Backyard Wedding

Dana and Dan’s story of how they met is unlike any other that I’ve heard. In short, their friends helped them connect at a friend’s house one summer and a few years later they were getting married at the same exact house with family and friends from all over. The weather was slightly bipolar (100+ degrees to pouring thunderstorms) but everyone was in great spirits and stayed positive. Weddings like Dana and Dan’s remind me of why I got into photographing weddings. The pure raw emotion throughout the day was truly touching and it reminds me of what weddings are really about (love). I can’t thank Dana and Dan enough for allowing me to capture their special day!

Cork Factory Hotel Wedding – Kristi & Mike

Kristi and Mike are such a fun loving couple and I had an absolute blast with them during their engagement session in Central Park just shortly before their wedding day. I knew their day would be full of fun and laughter and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The Cork Factory Hotel was absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for Kristi and Mike’s wedding day. Kristi and Mike left me plenty of time for those more creative shots and we captured some of my favorite images of the year so far. I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to be there to capture their special day and wish them a lifetime of happiness! Congrats Kristi and Mike!

Carolyn & Jon – Prospect Valley Farm Wedding

The weather theme of this summer seems to be insanely hot with totally random but intense thunderstorms. Carolyn and Jon’s wedding day weather was exactly that but it didn’t put a damper on anything as everyone was in such good spirits. We were able to do the first look, Carolyn and Jon’s pictures, the wedding party pictures, ceremony, and family pictures before the skies let loose and confined everyone inside the barn for a bit. We all got totally soaked but no one was complaining and the rest of the evening turned out perfectly. The weather cleared up towards the end of the night and Carolyn and Jon had their glow stick exit. This was my first glow stick exit and I have to say that I really enjoy them. The colors just pop! Congrats Carolyn and Jon!

Historic Shady Lane Wedding – Addy & Nathan

I was looking forward to this day since I first met with Addy and Nathan. They are two of the nicest people ever and I loved how much Addy was into pictures. Nathan – well not quite so much! The wedding day was hot but beautiful and it all went down flawlessly at the incredible Historic Shady Lane. My favorite moment of the day by far was the first look that Addy did with her father. She’s actually the first bride of mine to do it and I certainly hope not the last. Congrats Addy and Nathan!

Historic Shady Lane Wedding – Nastassia & Henry

They say that it’s lucky if it rains on your wedding day and that couldn’t have been truer for Nastassia and Henry’s wedding at Historic Shady Lane. While the weather decided to be a bit bipolar throughout the day, it thankfully let up for a little bit at points and we were able to use the beautiful grounds at Historic Shady Lane. Every wedding is different but has an overall main theme and that was definitely friends and family for this wedding. I always love seeing how families  and friends intertwine as two different groups of people become one to support the couple. Congrats Nastassia and Henry!
