Ashlee & David – York Wedding
Ashlee and David’s day was a scorcher! It was brutally hot but that didn’t stop them from having one hell of an epic day. Ashlee and David were married at David’s grandparent’s estate which was stunning and could very well be a future wedding venue. 3 West Entertainment brought the jams and the crowd brought their best moves (and boy did they have moves)! Jamie & Keenan – Little Buffalo State Park Wedding
Jamie and Keenan tied the knot on a gorgeous (yet chilly) November day that was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of tears. I always stress to my couples to really wear their hearts on their sleeves for the day and be emotionally invested in every part of the day. Jamie and Keenan took that advice to heart and it really paid off with tons of incredible heart wrenching moments throughout the day. The reception contained fire breathing, a giant bonfire, and a rain storm that almost took the tent everyone was celebrating in. What a day!
Carrie & Charlie – Lancaster Wedding
Carrie and Charlie were married at Carrie’s parents’ farm on a beautiful (yet hot) fall day. The farm had been beautifully transformed by Stray Productions into a venue that any bride and groom would envy. The day was full of dogs, adorable children, and lots of love and laughter. Alicia & Justin – Middleburg Wedding
When Alicia first contacted me about photographing her wedding, I’ll admit that I was hesitant because it was New Year’s Eve and I wasn’t sure that I wanted to work on a holiday. However, after talking with Alicia for a bit, it became very clear that she truly valued photography and loved my work so I couldn’t say no! Alicia and Justin’s day was perfect and their first look will forever be one of my favorite moments as a wedding photographer. They really opened themselves up and were vulnerable with one another throughout the day and I feel that it really benefited their pictures. Congrats Alicia and Justin!
Dana & Dan – Strasburg Backyard Wedding
Dana and Dan’s story of how they met is unlike any other that I’ve heard. In short, their friends helped them connect at a friend’s house one summer and a few years later they were getting married at the same exact house with family and friends from all over. The weather was slightly bipolar (100+ degrees to pouring thunderstorms) but everyone was in great spirits and stayed positive. Weddings like Dana and Dan’s remind me of why I got into photographing weddings. The pure raw emotion throughout the day was truly touching and it reminds me of what weddings are really about (love). I can’t thank Dana and Dan enough for allowing me to capture their special day!
