We met up with Emily and Shayne on the perfect fall day at Paulus Orchards for their engagement session. Emily and Shayne are such a natural couple and made my job so easy due to their fantastic chemistry. They picked pumpkins, played cornhole, climbed hay bales, ventured through a corn maze, and walked the apple picking fields. We capped off their session with some delicious apple cider slushies too (thanks for the recommendation guys)! We can’t wait for their wedding at Ironstone Ranch in October 2019!

Nicole and Brian had a gorgeous fall day for their incredible wedding day at Historic Shady Lane. I love when my clients wear their hearts on their sleeves and Nicole did just that. I’m always so grateful when my couples do that because I know how difficult it can be to be vulnerable in front of the camera and a ton of people. Nicole and Brian’s friends and family certainly know how to give some fantastic toasts because everyone was cracking up during their reception. Congrats Nicole and Brian!

Lindsay and Nate’s hot air balloon engagement seemed like it was never going to happen. Let’s just say that the third time is the charm! We were all ecstatic on the day of because we couldn’t believe that it was finally going to happen (regardless of the 100+ degree temperature). I’m pretty sure we all sweat our body weight by the end of the day but we had gorgeous skies and a wonderful time flying through the clouds. I met up with Jenni and Bill in Gettysburg on a beautiful fall afternoon. The weather hasn’t been ideal this year so we were all super excited by the gorgeous skies and perfect fall temperatures we were greeted with. Christina and John tied the knot on a beautiful fall day in Philadelphia at Power Plant Productions. These two were lucky enough to get one of the only days with nice weather this wedding season. The day was full of smiles and laughter to the point that our cheeks hurt at the end of the night. We ventured to the top of a nearby parking garage (we may have bribed them a bit) for some epic night photos with the bridge and city lights in the background. Congrats Christina and John!

Kelsey and Sean are truthfully two of the most authentic people I’ve ever met. When we initially met, they told me about their vision for their wedding day and I was thrilled when they told me that they wanted me to capture their day. The weather reports were questionable all day but the rain held off until just after the ceremony and the Cameron Estate Inn provided plenty of indoor spaces to keep everyone dry. When I say that it rained, I really mean that it poured, unlike anything I’ve seen before. I asked Kelsey and Sean if they wanted to brave the weather for some epic rain shots and they excitedly said, “Absolutely!” Even with an umbrella, Kelsey and Sean got a bit wet but they didn’t let it dampen their mood one bit. Thanks for having us capture your big day Kelsey and Sean!

Ashlee and David’s day was a scorcher! It was brutally hot but that didn’t stop them from having one hell of an epic day. Ashlee and David were married at David’s grandparent’s estate which was stunning and could very well be a future wedding venue. 3 West Entertainment brought the jams and the crowd brought their best moves (and boy did they have moves)! It’s been the spring and summer of rain and Elaine and Jon’s wedding day ended up being one of those days as well. However, the rain held off just long enough for us to do most of their pictures around the beautiful grounds of The Old Mill in Rose Valley, PA. One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is the fact that I get to witness so many different cultures and their traditions and beliefs. Elaine and Jon had a tea ceremony before their traditional American ceremony and it was one of my favorite parts of the entire day. It was a fantastic reminder of the importance of family and friends and the connections we share with them. The skies let loose later and we made sure to take advantage of it by capturing some epic rainy night shots to cap off a wonderful day. Congrats Elaine and Jon!

It was blisteringly hot the days before Laura and Joe’s engagement which was ironic because they brought the heat! We ended up having one of the most beautiful nights of the summer and we made sure to take advantage of it by going to Detweiler Park, Fort Hunter, City Island, and Downtown Harrisburg. Laura and Joe were total naturals which made my job super easy. We were even fortunate enough to have one of the best sunsets in recent memory and it was the perfect way to end our evening.
