Taylor & Jeff – Philadelphia Engagement
Taylor and Jeff grew up in Philadelphia and will be returning to the City of Brotherly Love for their wedding in December 2019. I say returning to Philadelphia because they currently live in California and I may be a little bit jealous. We braved the cold for their engagement session in Philadelphia right after Christmas and it was totally worth it. The Christmas decorations were still up but the crowds had died down significantly and we wandered around the city to some of the popular spots, including Addison Street and Penn’s Landing, to grab some nighttime portraits. Stay tuned for more from Taylor and Jeff in December when they tie the knot at the stunning Cescaphe Ballroom!
Jessica & Dominic – Linvilla Orchards Engagement
Jessica and Dominic were referred to me by kick ass photography friends Mal and Joey over at The Wise Image. Mal has been close friends with Jessica for quite some time so I was honored when Mal and Joey referred Jessica and Dominic to me. They wanted a fun and candid engagement at an orchard and Linvilla Orchards provided the perfect backdrop on a gorgeous fall day. We slingshot some apples, played with animals, and had some delicious hot apple cider and apple cider donuts. It’s difficult to be truly candid with your loved one in front of the camera but Jessica and Dominic were total naturals and their personalities really came to life in their pictures (especially the black and white photo towards the end). I can’t wait for their wedding at Normandy Farms next November!
Laura and Joe – Peter Allen House Wedding
Laura and Joe’s wedding day was a wet one but that certainly didn’t stop them from having a great time! They both took the weather in stride and decided to make the best out of it (which is the best thing you can really do). The weather cleared up very briefly so we could do some outdoor portraits on the beautiful grounds of the Peter Allen House. We had a wonderful time with all of the vendors and families and wish Laura and Joe a lifetime of joy!
Harmony Hall Estate Wedding – Jenni & Bill
Jenni and Bill were not your stereotypical bride and groom and I absolutely loved that about them! They did things their own way, including Jenni switching into a black dress between the ceremony and reception. Jenni’s mother had quite the reaction that you’ll surely want to check out below. We had beautiful weather for a fall wedding at Harmony Hall Estate with a ton of custom touches that made the day their own (custom knives for the guys, heavy metal music while getting ready, and more). Congrats Jenni and Bill!
Wyndridge Farm Wedding – Kaycee & Kevin
Kaycee and Kevin are two of the most authentic people you’ll ever meet. They both come from incredible families with close ties to their heritage which made for a unique and very emotional wedding day. After the ceremony, they had a Quaich ceremony, which is a Scotish tradition involving giving family and friends a special drink (scotch) to commemorate the occasion. We always love experiencing different culture’s traditions and we were honored that Kaycee and Kevin included us in their Quaich ceremony. We even lucked out and had an absolutely epic sunset that we made sure to take advantage of. Congrats Kaycee and Kevin!
Amanda & Tony – Havre de Grace Engagement
We had already re-scheduled Amanda and Tony’s engagement session once so when we heard that there was a chance of some decent weather, we decided to just go for it. While we did get cut a little short thanks to the weather, it was just enough time to capture some epic photos by the water. Their adorable dog even made an appearance for some photos!
