You will be delighted with the selection of ceremony locations located throughout the grounds at Historic Shady Lane. There is the rose garden with its cobblestone walkways and pink rose bushes or the bandstand with its white-washed pillars and trailing ivy. The greenhouse also makes for the perfect location for cocktail hour.  Receptions at Historic Shady Lane take place under the big white tent!  The 4,000 square foot tent is open frame which means there aren’t annoying poles to deal with.  The large tent can accommodate 225 guests and features large chandeliers, ceiling drapings, perimeter lighting, and beautiful sweeping views of the estate.  The outside of the tent can be pulled up to allow for the open air to breeze through, and fans and heaters are also provided when necessary.  Additionally, fire pits, cornhole, and horseshoe pits are provided free of charge.
