Alex & Adam – The Farm at Eagles Ridge Wedding

Alex and Adam’s wedding day at The Farm at Eagles Ridge in Lancaster, Pennsylvania was one for the ages. Alex and Adam live near New York City (but just recently moved to the Carolinas) and wanted to tie the knot at a venue that was totally unique. I’m so glad they made the trip because their wedding day will forever go down as one of my favorites. The entire day was filled with laughter, tears (lots of them), and just plain old good times. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for some incredible night pictures we made to cap off the day!

Carrie & Charlie – Lancaster Wedding

Carrie and Charlie were married at Carrie’s parents’ farm on a beautiful (yet hot) fall day. The farm had been beautifully transformed by Stray Productions into a venue that any bride and groom would envy. The day was full of dogs, adorable children, and lots of love and laughter. We capped the night off with an incredible sparkler send off so be sure to scroll all the way to the end to check that out!

Liz & Steve – Excelsior Wedding

Liz and Steve came to me through the recommendation of one of my former couples and I couldn’t be more thankful because they were so much fun to work with. I went to their home in Brooklyn to capture their engagement session and then they came down to Lancaster to officially tie the know at the always incredible and never duplicated Excelsior. We had such a wonderful day full of laughter and tears (best first look of 2017?!). Congrats Liz and Steve!

Cara & Matt – Excelsior Wedding

When I first up with Cara and Matt for their engagement session in Baltimore (at sunrise nonetheless), we immediately hit it off and I knew that their wedding day would absolutely epic in every way. Let’s just say that they didn’t disappoint in the least! Smiles, laughter, tears, screaming, and more filled Cara and Matt’s wedding day with all kinds of incredible moments. If that wasn’t enough, the big day took place at Excelsior, Lancaster’s new premier wedding venue that has quickly become one of my places to shoot. Congrats Cara and Matt!

Christina & Brian – Inn at Leola Village Wedding

Christina was super excited (and a little nervous) when the weather report came across with the four letter word that couples either hate or love: SNOW. Thankfully, the snow ended just in time for the roads to be safe and it left a beautiful thin layer of snow everywhere. The Inn at Leola Village looked absolutely gorgeous and served as the perfect backdrop to this winter wonderland wedding. The day was full of love, laughter, and tears and I can’t thank Christina and Brian enough for allowing us to capture their special day!

Stacy & Chris – Excelsior Wedding

Chris and I are former coworkers so I was thrilled when his fiancé (at the time), Stacy, reached out to me. We all really hit it off and agreed that we were a great fit for each other. I shot Stacy and Chris’s engagement session at Excelsior while it was under construction and we had no idea that the finished venue would look as beautiful as it did. If you’re looking for a modern, chic, industrial, architecture, old, incredible venue in the Lancaster area, I can’t recommend it enough. Stacy and Chris’s day was filled with laughter, tears, and lots of love. Congrats!

Dana & Dan – Strasburg Backyard Wedding

Dana and Dan’s story of how they met is unlike any other that I’ve heard. In short, their friends helped them connect at a friend’s house one summer and a few years later they were getting married at the same exact house with family and friends from all over. The weather was slightly bipolar (100+ degrees to pouring thunderstorms) but everyone was in great spirits and stayed positive. Weddings like Dana and Dan’s remind me of why I got into photographing weddings. The pure raw emotion throughout the day was truly touching and it reminds me of what weddings are really about (love). I can’t thank Dana and Dan enough for allowing me to capture their special day!

Cork Factory Hotel Wedding – Kristi & Mike

Kristi and Mike are such a fun loving couple and I had an absolute blast with them during their engagement session in Central Park just shortly before their wedding day. I knew their day would be full of fun and laughter and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The Cork Factory Hotel was absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for Kristi and Mike’s wedding day. Kristi and Mike left me plenty of time for those more creative shots and we captured some of my favorite images of the year so far. I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to be there to capture their special day and wish them a lifetime of happiness! Congrats Kristi and Mike!

Carolyn & Jon – Prospect Valley Farm Wedding

The weather theme of this summer seems to be insanely hot with totally random but intense thunderstorms. Carolyn and Jon’s wedding day weather was exactly that but it didn’t put a damper on anything as everyone was in such good spirits. We were able to do the first look, Carolyn and Jon’s pictures, the wedding party pictures, ceremony, and family pictures before the skies let loose and confined everyone inside the barn for a bit. We all got totally soaked but no one was complaining and the rest of the evening turned out perfectly. The weather cleared up towards the end of the night and Carolyn and Jon had their glow stick exit. This was my first glow stick exit and I have to say that I really enjoy them. The colors just pop! Congrats Carolyn and Jon!

Carolyn & Jon – Lancaster City Engagement

Carolyn & Jon – Lancaster City Engagement

Carolyn and Jon live in Lancaster so it was only fitting that they had their engagement session in the city. I love shooting engagement sessions in the city because it’s full of little nooks that you discover each time you shoot there. I also like to incorporate lots of flash during urban engagement shoots because it helps everything pop and become more dramatic. Stay tuned for more from Carolyn and Jon as they’ll be getting married at Prospect Valley Farm in Columbia in June!
