An eclectic and unique wedding venue in the heart of downtown Lancaster, PA

Excelsior is a wedding venue located in the heart of beautiful downtown Lancaster. The building is registered as a national historic landmark and the owners, Kelly and John, have tediously restored the multi-floor building to be one of the most unique wedding venues in the area. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor areas and there’s even a parking garage directly across the street from Excelsior. Excelsior is one of the newer venues in the area but they’ve quickly taken the wedding scene by the storm and it’s easy to see why!

Excelsior consists of a total of four floors.

Basement (Catacombs/Courtyard)
Main Floor (Grande Salon)
Second Floor (Empire Room)
Third Floor (Attic)

The Catacombs are the perfect location for cocktail hour with all of your guests when you need to be indoors. However, if the weather permits, you and your guests can spill outside into the Courtyard and have the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor spaces to fit the needs of all of your guests.

The main floor is the Grande Salon which is where you’ll party the night away! You’ll enter down the grand staircase and be greeted by your guests in fashion.

The second floor is the Empire Room and this is where most people choose to have dinner (and sometimes their ceremony).

The third floor is the attic and it contains unfinished areas that are original to the building. It’s not for everyone but there is a beautifully finished space adjacent to the attic that is full of natural light and perfect for photos.
